Glass is generally more suitable for repeated contact with warm liquids because it is non-porous, easy to clean, does not retain odors, and is less likely than some plastics to warp or release substances when exposed to heat. The small size makes it convenient for preparing a fresh sea salt solution and soaking certain piercing areas. It also helps keep your aftercare routine consistent by giving you a dedicated cup specifically for piercing care. Make sure your glass is thoroughly cleaned before each use. Prepare your SherryBerries non-iodized sea salt solution using the recommended salt-to-water ratio, allow the water to cool to a comfortably warm temperature, and use as directed for your piercing. SherryBerries Tip 🍓: Warm is enough. Your aftercare solution should never be hot enough to burn or irritate your skin.
